The Instructional Support team hopes that everyone is taking care during this mid-term period. Here are a few tips for the week:

How are students experiencing your course? Now is a great time to get mid-quarter feedback from students. You can ask, “What should I start doing? Stop doing? Keep doing?” or click here for more ideas for questions you can ask students using a Google Form or GauchoSpace Feedback Survey.

What are students saying?: Student tips for making your course easy to navigate.
We’ve been paying attention to students’ comments and questions. Here are some tips based on what they’ve been saying:

*If you are using external tools for homework or other class activities, make sure you have clear links to each of them in a section on the GauchoSpace course site.
*Try to send just a single weekly message throughout the quarter, highlighting any due dates, assignments, or other class activities for that week. In that message, you can copy and paste any assignment details and send them to students as a reminder.
*Make Assignments and Quizzes visible on your course page, with dates set, so that students don’t get surprised when those appear.

Take care, and we’ll be back with you next week.
