Help with Classroom Technology
Spring 2022: If you are using a General Assignment classroom, please review Key Classroom Information for Instructors prior to your first day of instruction and complete any outstanding action items, including picking up lectern keys at the Classroom Services Office.
Effective March 21st, the Classroom Services Office Drop-in hours will be:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- We will be closed on Friday, March 25th
- If you need assistance at another time please contact help@id.ucsb.edu.
Powerpoint issues with YouTube Links: There is a known issue with Microsoft Powerpoint which is pending resolution. Users may experience issues with embedded YouTube links within PowerPoint slides. Upon clicking on the hyperlinked text, the web browser will open to a generic "Your browser is up to date" landing page instead of the hyperlinked YouTube video. Until we receive further information, please copy the URL link from the slide and paste it directly into a web browser to manually load the YouTube video.
Intermittent Network Outages: UCSB IT is investigating a series of brief, intermittent network outages that began occurring on Wednesday, February 23. UCSB’s Network Operations Center (NOC) is working to address the issue and will post updates on status.ucsb.edu and on the UCSB IT Twitter page.
GauchoSpace Pre-Spring Workshops: Join the GauchoSpace team for two workshop offerings prior to the start of the Spring Quarter. March 22nd at 2pm on Grading in GauchoSpace and March 23rd at 1pm on Advanced Activities in GauchoSpace. RSVP here.
