In response to requests from some instructors for guidance in case of potential classroom disruption, the guidance attached has been developed by the Office of Teaching and Learning, the Office of Undergraduate Education, and the Executive Vice Chancellor’s office. It is also posted at this link.

We hope that members of our community will achieve balance between the right to exercise freedom of speech and the need to ensure that everyone on campus can participate fully in learning, teaching, and research without disruptions or impediments to access their education.
