Late-hire instructors needing access to GauchoSpace
If there are late-hire instructors who are unable to get into UCPath in a timely manner in order to ensure access to GauchoSpace, the department can help expedite this process. Department delegated editors for identity (found at this link) can give the instructors a ‘pre-hire’ affiliation in identity by following the instructions at this link. Once an instructor has an active UCSBnetID, they can be added to their GauchoSpace course site(s) manually by Collaborate support staff; the department administrator should email help@collaborate.ucsb.edu with any instructor names, UCSBnetIDs, and course information and access will be provided to GauchoSpace for those instructors.
We’ll be back next week (or before) with more!
