This roundtable discussion will explore insights and challenges that have emerged from teaching during a global pandemic to consider how we can shape the teaching and learning landscape in the near future. Faculty are invited to participate alongside invited speakers from a range of departments at UCSB.

Useful Resources for Your Grading and Course Evaluations!
Gradescope Scanning: If you are giving paper-based exams (handwritten work or bubble-sheets), GradeScope can make grading faster and more reliable. You’ll need to cut the corners off of the exams and use a scanner to create a pdf file for upload to GradeScope. You can reserve a time to use Instructional Development’s high-speed scanners and industrial paper-cutter in Kerr Hall 1124 by emailing: id-test-scanning@ucsb.edu

ESCI (Evaluation System for Courses and Instructors) surveys open this Sunday, 2/27 at midnight and close on 3/11. Here are a few ideas and resources for boosting response rates and getting more useful feedback:
