Instructional Support Team Updates * Winter Course Sites, Upcoming Canvas Trainings, Important Zoom Updates, Office of T&L website
Transition to Canvas Fall Town Hall Recording Now Available: Learn more about the Transition to Canvas by watching the Fall 2022 Town Hall recording at this link. Look out for future Canvas Transition Town Halls in Winter and Spring quarters, where we will dive deeper into Canvas features and instructors will demonstrate some of their favorite features and the design of their courses.
GauchoSpace and Canvas Winter 2023 Course Sites: For Winter 2023 course sites will not be automatically created. Beginning on November 8th, to create your Winter 2023 course sites in either GauchoSpace or Canvas instructors will need to login to GauchoSpace and use the UCSB Site Creator Block on the right side of your GauchoSpace Dashboard, click on the green + sign to create you course site. You will be prompted with the option to create your course site in either GauchoSpace or Canvas. More information can be found here.

Zoom Updates: Effective November, Zoom is moving to a quarterly software update requirement. If you are unable to log into Zoom, verify you are running the newest version of the software at https://ucsb.zoom.us
New Office of Teaching and Learning Website: The Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) has a new website. It provides resources for faculty and TAs as well as links to additional resources from departments that make up OTL such as CITRAL and ID. The url is: https://otl.ucsb.edu/
