Dear Colleague,
I write to you on behalf of the College of Creative Studies Dean Search Advisory Committee to solicit applications and nominations for the next Dean of the College. The search is being conducted internal to UC Santa Barbara and is open only to tenured members of the UC Santa Barbara faculty. You are receiving this correspondence because you are a UC Santa Barbara faculty member or have been identified as a staff member with a recent link to CCS. On behalf of the search committee, I invite nominations, applications, or expressions of interest. In accordance with CA Labor Code 432.3, the anticipated annual compensation range for this position is $199,700– $430,000. This range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
