One of the recurring themes in reports coming back on the effect of budget reductions on departmental operations is the stress on expense budgets. Moreover, a significant degree of expenditures are in areas for which the campus provides services, particularly production services. Consequently, this is a reminder that departments could achieve savings by using on-campus providers of production services; these can be found at

You will find the rates more than competitive with off-campus providers, and you're encouraged to give this a first consideration before turning to alternatives.
