Letter from President Napolitano

Aimée Dorr, University of California Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mary Gilly, Chair of the Universitywide Academic Senate, have asked us to forward this letter from President Janet Napolitano describing the Regents’ most recent budget and ongoing discussions with the Governor and the Legislature. The information appended to the letter is especially useful in summarizing the decline in state support for the university and the Regents’ plan.
