Dear Colleagues,
This week’s brief updates from the IS team:

Upcoming Network Outage, February 24, 2021, from 12:01-7:30 a.m
On Wednesday February 24, 2021, from 12:01-7:30 a.m., ETS will continue network migration work, replacing the 535-d1 North Hall core. This will impact most network services on campus, including access to GauchoSpace, so please be aware of this outage when scheduling class activities.

ETS will continue to update the status via email, at it.ucsb.edu, status.ucsb.edu, and on the UCSB IT LinkedIn and Twitter pages. Please note that you can subscribe to status.ucsb.edu to receive UCSB service impact notices.

Reminder: President’s Day Holiday Next Monday
Keep the (University) Calendar in Mind - Even in asynchronous courses!!

As you plan for the end of the term and for Spring quarter, please remember university holidays/non-instructional days. Please don’t require students to attend, view, or participate in any course-related activities during these university holidays. This includes asking students to view lectures, upload assignments, take quizzes, or anything else.

Winter: January 18 and February 15
Spring: May 31
