As we head into Spring quarter, a few reminders from the IS Team:
Reminder: GauchoSpace end-of-quarter update
GauchoSpace will be unavailable on Wednesday March 24, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am for end-of-quarter maintenance, following the grade submission deadline. More info can be found at the Roadmap and Recent Updates help page.
Core Router Migration Project Update
On March 25, 2021, from 12:01-7:30 a.m., new software will be installed on all the new core routers to address software defects and improve service stability. This will affect the entire campus network at various times during the scheduled window, with each building experiencing up to three disruptions of up to five minutes. Additional post-migration cleanup activities will take place at this time as well.
Learning Outcomes in GauchoSpace
Following the update to GauchoSpace on March 24th all courses will have an “About this course” block added to them which will include course information including the type of course, department, units, GE subject area (if applicable), and a space for instructors to input the Learning Outcomes for the course.
GauchoSpace Pre-Spring Quarter Workshops
In the lead up to Spring Quarter GauchoSpace will be offering a workshop on setting up assignments and quizzes (3/22 - 2pm) as well as a workshop on gradebook setup (3/25 - 2pm). Please RSVP here.
