Due to recent events, the Classroom Services Media Equipment Office is operating under reduced hours this week. If you need to pick up equipment or need additional assistance please contact help@id.ucsb.edu or visit the office in 1160 Kerr Hall during our hours of operation.
Effective January 4th, the Media Equipment Office will be open:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 9am - 4:30pm
Friday 9am-2pm
The Media Equipment Office will return to regular hours asap.
Remote Teaching Resources
Here are some resources for remote teaching and learning that you and/or your TAs may find useful:
- Start Remote Classes Off Right (1 min video with 6 tips)
- Zoom lesson plan template (small courses and section)
- Encourage participation in synchronous meetings
- Build Class Community to keep students engaged
- Short videos about teaching remotely (course organization, making videos, assessment)
- Educational Technology Tutorials (iClicker Cloud, Panopto, Zoom, Google Docs, etc.)
