The Office of Summer Sessions is pleased to invite submissions for our 2025 Request for Proposals for Summer Online Courses! This grant funds the development of fully online courses to be offered in Summer quarter, allowing UCSB students to continue making degree progress even if they can't be on campus, and assisting faculty with the creation of innovative curriculum and pedagogy that will enhance undergraduate education. Over the past few years, we've seen the demand for online courses in Summer grow dramatically, so this initiative plays an important role helping the campus to meet its student FTE goals, and in helping our students to stay on track academically.
Proposals are due on Friday, June 20th, 2025, and the selected courses will be developed over the 2025-2026 academic year to be offered in Summer 2026 and Summer 2027.
