Dear Colleagues,
UCSB is going to implement a new platform for student evaluations of teaching, Explorance Blue, to replace the ESCI platform. The change will take place for evaluations delivered at the conclusion of the Fall 2023 term. Prior to the change, the Office of Teaching and Learning/Instructional Development will provide regular updates about the new system via email. We also will hold Town Hall meetings (beginning in Fall 2023), provide videos on the new system, and be available for consultation.

This document provides answers to some initial questions and will be updated regularly. Please submit new questions to course-evals@id.ucsb.edu, and we will respond via the document.
