Re: | UCPath: The New Payroll Personnel System is Coming Soon |
This fall, UC Santa Barbara will transition to a new payroll/personnel system known as UCPath. Staff who work directly with the payroll system will be most impacted, but there will be some changes for all employees. In addition, fall quarter will be particularly busy for staff due to the change over from PPS to UCPath. Over the next few weeks, you will receive a series of emails describing various aspects of UCPath and the changes that may impact you. I encourage you to review this information and to take advantage of a variety of opportunities to become familiar with the coming changes to our payroll/personnel system. The move to UCPath, which is taking place across the whole UC system, is an important step forward for both UCSB and the UC system as a whole as we modernize our financial, payroll, and timekeeping systems. Our staff, working with UCOP staff and colleagues at other UC campuses, already have put in a great deal of time and effort into making this conversion a success, and we thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding as we move toward a fall implementation.
