Dear Colleagues,

For those of you who taught in Summer Session A, congratulations on what we hope was a successful experience. For those of you who are teaching in Summer Session B, we are still here to help you.

Access and Equity:  As you consider what technologies to use, it’s helpful to think about equity, as well as pedagogy, in students' access to teaching technologies.

Technologies that require high bandwidth, especially those that are “high immediacy,” may be difficult for many students to access. Technologies that require low bandwidth will be more accessible to a greater number of students.

August 2020 Panopto (GauchoCast) Downtime
:  On Saturday, August 15, Panopto will be making a number of updates to the Panopto Cloud infrastructure to improve performance and scalability. These updates will require downtime. We expect up to 3 hours of downtime, with a target start time of 9:00 pm EDT/6:00 pm PDT. Please let your students know about this outage.
