Dear Colleagues,

The Teaching Evaluation Workgroup, an ad hoc committee appointed jointly by the Senate and the EVC, is seeking feedback on a new process for measuring the Student Experience of Teaching (SET). If adopted, the new SET will replace the current ESCI. You can read more about the development of the new document in this presentation to the Faculty Legislature.

This questionnaire asks for your feedback on specific components of the new Student Experience of Teaching survey. It should take you about 10 minutes to complete. We will compile results and use them to inform any revisions.

Results will be summarized and distributed via the Senate and other listservs. If you have questions about this questionnaire or the SET revision process please contact the committee and co-chairs Linda Adler-Kassner or Rita Raley at senate-esci-revisions@ucsb.edu.
