General Assignment Classroom Usability
In preparation for Fall Quarter, the workgroup reviewed the 98 General Assignment classrooms in terms of physical distancing requirements, generally accepted best practices, CDC and State guidelines and room attribute limitations. Based on this review, the workgroup prepared a report that outlines in detail the planning parameters, findings and recommendations to campus.
With changing conditions in the State and County, campus was required to offer almost all Fall Quarter courses via remote instruction, with no classroom instruction allowed. The report’s recommendations will be utilized for Winter and/or Spring Quarter when the campus is allowed to resume more in-person instruction.
